Sevinj Aliyeva

Sevinj Aliyeva was born in Baku.

She studied at the Drama and Film Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1989).

She began her stage career at the Youth Theater. In 2001, she was accepted into the staff of the Academic National Drama Theater.

She starred in the German production “The Bra” (2018, directed by Veit Halmer).

She was awarded the “Golden Dervish” award of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan for her role as Zhuzhina in the play “If Only the Cart Had Overturned” (O. Ioseliani) (2007).

She is an Honored Artist (2002).
