Samaya Asgarova (Samaya Hillenbrand) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Faculty of Pediatrics of the Azerbaijan Medical University (2012).

She worked as a doctor at the Kiev Hospital (2012-2013), a project manager at 3Dost Production (2014), an international relations specialist at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio (2014-2017), and an employee of Cinemazadeh (2017-2020).

She currently lives in Germany. She is a producer at the “Doghouse Filmproductions GmbH” company in Germany.
