Shahbuz Guliyev was born in Gadabay.
He studied at the Drama and Film Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1984-1988).
He worked as a filming crew administrator at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio (1989-1992).
Since 2004, he has been working at the Baku Children and Youth Theater.
