Ruhiyya Mahmudgizi (Ruhiyya Yahyayeva) was born in Baku.
She worked at the Yerevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater.
At the same time, she worked as a tutor-teacher at boarding school No. 11 in Bilgah.
