Ruhangiz Gasimova was born in Baku.

She worked for a long time as a sound director and composer at the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio.

Her stories were published in the "Literature and Art" newspaper, "Azerbaijan", "Ulduz" magazines. She has a book called "My Grandfather's Museum".

She is a composer of numerous songs.

She worked as a scriptwriter and sound director for television performances.

Honored Artist (2005) Ruhangiz Gasimova died in Hong Kong in 2022 and was buried in the Yasamal cemetery.
