Rovshan Karimdukht was born in Sumgayit. He studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State University of Arts (1996).

Since 1996, he has been accepted into the staff of the Academic National Drama Theater. His first role was the role of Huseyngulu Khan in Ilyas Efendiyev's play "The Ruler and His Daughter".

He played the role of Pokemon in the Russian-produced TV series "We Declare War on You" (2010, directed by Igor Kholodkov).

He is an Honored Artist (2018).
