Rashad Suleymanoghlu (Rashad Dadashov / Rashad Suleyman) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Faculty of Philology of Baku State University (1993-1997).
He worked as a platoon commander in the 5th Corps Separate Reconnaissance Battalion (1998-2000), was discharged with the rank of senior lieutenant.
He lived in Moscow from 2000 to 2008.
Since 2008, he has been the director of the InterAz television channel.
Since 2014, he has worked as a screenwriter, producer and director on film projects.
He is the screenwriter of the US-made short film “Let Me Run” (2019, directed by Elmar Bayramov).
