Remzi Mert Levent was born in Istanbul.
He studied at Beykent University, Faculty of Fine Arts, in the fields of Performing Arts (BA) and Radio, TV, Cinema (MA).
The short films he directed, “Lipstick” (2006), “Memory” (2007), “Night Shift” (2012), and “Justice in Black” (2017), have won awards at various international film festivals. He is also the cinematographer and producer of several other films.
