Rasmiyya Nur (Rasmiyya Nurmammadova) was born in the village of Mukhax, Zagatala region.

She studied at the Musical Comedy Department of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1984).

Since 1989, she has worked at the Tanqid Tabligh Theater. In 1996, she was appointed as a soloist-vocalist at the Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theater. Currently, she is an actress of the Musical Theater.

She starred in the Turkish film “Misunderstanding” (2017, directed by Ulaş Cihan Şimşek).
