Ramin Shikhaliyev was born in the village of Kalakhan, Lerik. He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art, majoring in Drama and Cinema Acting (1997-2001) and Theater Studies (master's degree, 2001-2003). He worked at the Ilham Miniature Theater (1998-2001), the Baku Municipal Theater (2003-2011). Since 2011, he has been an actor at the Academic National Drama Theater. He has appeared in television programs, commercials, and music videos.
