Gasim Safaroghlu was born in Baku.
He studied at the Faculty of Acting of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (course of Adil Isgandarov, Mehdi Mammadov, 1962-1969).
Since 1969, he has worked as an editor and head of the production department at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.
He worked at Lider television.
He taught at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
Gasim Safaroglu died in 2022.
Producer, screenwriter Gasim Safaroglu is the father of actor Ulvi Safarov.
