Parviz Mammadrzayev was born in Baku.

He studied at the directing department of the Theater collective of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1989-1994), and in the master classes of Georgian director Robert Sturuan (1998).

Since 1993, he has been working in the auxiliary staff of the Young Spectators Theater, and since 1994, in the pantomime theater-studio "Deli Shingyanchagi" operating under the theater. The theater-studio received state status in 2000 and became the Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theater.

Since 2010, he has been independently active, founding the "Simsar" theater-studio.

He worked as a teacher of rhythm and plastic arts in the studio of the Academic National Drama Theater and at the same time as an actor of that theater (2013-2016).

Since 2017, he has been working as an actor at the Azerbaijan State Musical Theater.

He is a co-founder and artistic director of the "Human" Theater (2017).

Since 2001, he has been working as a teacher at the “Choreographic Art and Stage Plastics” Department and the “Musical Theater Actor” Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.

He starred in the series “Drongo” (2002, directed by Sinoviy Roizman / Russia) by foreign film producers as Parviz Ojalov, in the series “Russian Translation” (2006, directed by Alexander Chernyayev / Russia) as Sadek, in the film “Ali and Nino” (2015, directed by Asif Kapadia / Great Britain) as a ram, and in the series “Janissary” (2022, directed by Ivan Shurkhovets / Russia) as the governor of Trabzon.
