Oleg Amirbayov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art, specializing in Theater Directing (2009).
He worked as an assistant director at the Baku Camera Theater (2004-2005), director at Space television (2005), Azerbaijani correspondent for Mir television (2007-2008), presenter at Sports television (2009-2010), presenter at Culture television (2013), presenter at Azerbaijan television (2009-2013, 2015-2022), presenter at CBC television (2021-2023), actor at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater (2010-2023).
In 2023, he was an advisor to the Minister of Culture.
He is an Honored Artist (2021).
Actor Oleg Amirbayov is the son of actress Rita Amirbayova.
