Nariman Mammadov was born in Moscow, Russia.
He has a higher legal and political education.
He has more than 25 years of experience in management positions in various local and international companies. Since 2005, he has been an arbitrator of the International Commercial Arbitration Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 1993, he founded the company “Nariman Interservis” (since 2005, “Narimanfilm”). He is a co-founder of the Transnational Association of Independent Cinematographers of the South Caucasus (since 2005), the founder of the “Salam” International Youth Film Festival (2019). He was the chairman of the Azerbaijan Producers Guild (2021-2023), and the director of the “Narimanfilm” film studio.
He is a line producer of many Indian-made films shot in Azerbaijan.
He is an Honored Worker of Culture (2018).
Producer Nariman Mammadov is the brother of director Ilgar Safat.
