Namand Rustamov was born in Salyan.
He studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University (1996-2000).
He worked at ABA, Lider TV, Space TV, AzTV, ATV television stations, and the newspapers "Markez" and "168 Saat". He is currently the artistic director of "ATV+" and a teacher at the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University.
