Murad Guliyev was born in Baku. He studied Film Directing at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (2006-2010, Eldar Guliyev's course).

Since 2007, he has been working at the "Azerbaijantelefilm" Creative Union of Azerbaijani Television.
