Munavvar Aliyeva (Munavvar Sabirgizi) was born in Sumgayit.

She studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1988-1992, Elmira Shabanova's course).

For a while she worked at the "Yug" State Theater. Since 1994 she has been an actress of the Academic National Drama Theater.
