Mirseyfeddin Kirmanshahli (Mir Seyfeddin Kirmanshahli) was born in Kirmanshah near Tehran. In 1908, he moved to Tbilisi.
He received his theater education in Tbilisi and at the Moscow Theater Technical School.
The main period of his creativity is connected with the Tbilisi Azerbaijan Theater. There he staged "Aydin", "Haji Gambar", "Hamlet" and other plays, and himself appeared in the leading roles. In the 1920s, he worked as an actor and director at the Baku Free Criticism-Propaganda Theater and the Azerbaijan Drama Theater.
He taught at the Baku Theater Technical School.
In 1930, he moved to Iran and led theater troupes in Tabriz and Tehran.
Mirseyfeddin Kirmanshahli committed suicide in 1933 at the age of 41, as he was persecuted for his political beliefs.
