Maharram Badirzadeh was born in Baku.
While in high school, he joined the drama club organized by actor Suleyman Alasgarov at the Pioneer House, and then Lutfi Mammadbeyov invited him to the Palace of Culture named after the 26s. There he worked for a while as both an assistant director and an actor. He studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1963-1970, Mehdi Mammadov's course).
After graduating from the institute, he worked for a while on the radio. His teacher Mehdi Mammadov took him on as an assistant director for the play "Living Corpse". He began working on television in 1971. Several programs of the period are associated with his name: "Morning Meetings", "Wave", "Let's Laugh Together", "I Traveled Azerbaijan", "Morning", "Ocag Basi". He was awarded the "Golden Sword" award for the television film "Sari Gelin".
He was engaged in pedagogical activities at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
Maharram Badirzadeh, laureate of the "Humay" and "Golden Dervish" awards, Honored Artist (2006), passed away in 2021.
