Laman Imanova was born in Baku.

She studied at the Department of Theater Director of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2002).

She worked as an actress at the Baku Municipal Theater for a while (2002-2004).

Since 2005, she has been an actress at the Academic National Drama Theater.
