Konul Mammadova (Konul Mayilova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Faculty of Literary Creativity and Screen Dramaturgy of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2006-2010).

During her student years, she worked as a journalist in various media outlets (“Mədəniyyet” newspaper, “Olaylar” newspaper, “Kaspi” newspaper). She worked as an assistant editor-in-chief at ANS television. She worked as a methodologist and artistic director at the Turkan House of Culture (2008–2011). Her play was staged at the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater (2019). Since 2011, she has been working as a screenwriter at Khazar TV.
