Konul Alasova was born in Baku.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art, majoring in Literary Creativity and Screen Dramaturgy (2007-2011), and a master's degree in Film Studies (2012-2014).

She worked as a reporter and editor at the public radio (2011-2014), a screenwriter at Khazar TV (2014-2023), and a screenwriter at ATV (2023-2024).

She is currently an editor at manshet.az.

Screenwriter Konul Alasova is the sister of screenwriter Turkan Mehtiyeva.
