Konstantin Daushvili (Kote Daushvili) was born in Baku.
He is a Georgian by nationality. He began his acting career in 1928 at the Tbilisi Golden Army Theater. In 1930, he was accepted into the troupe of the Tbilisi Academic Theater named after Kote Marjanashvili, and soon became known as one of the theater's leading actors. His film career began in 1931.
