Kochari Mammadov was born in the village of Duzrasullu, Gadabay.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute (1965) and at advanced training courses at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography.
Since 1969, he has worked as a cameraman for documentary and chronicle films at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.
Kochari Mammadov died in 2008.
