Khudayat Asgarov was born in Ganja.

He studied at the Ganja City Basic Construction Technical School (1979).

He worked as an amateur actor at the “Ganjlik” People’s Theater of the Ganja City Inshaatchilar Palace of Culture. Since 1981, he has been working at the Ganja State Drama Theater. Since 1987, he has been employed as an actor at the Ganja State Puppet Theater. In addition to acting, he has directed performances.

He is an Honored Artist (2013).
