Khatira Suleymanova was born in Aghdam. She studied at the accordion department of the Art Music School No. 2 (1983-1988), and at the Azerbaijan State University of Arts as a director of the Theater collective (1989-1994). She began her professional career as a music teacher at secondary school No. 11 in Sumgayit city (1994). She worked as the head of the methodological department and the art department at the Children and Adolescents Creativity Center (1995), the head of the “Children's Union Organization” of school No. 11 in Sumgayit city (1994-1996), and the head of the Children and Adolescents Art Department (1996-2002). Since 2005, she has been an actress of the Sumgayit State Musical Drama Theater. Honored Artist (2018).
