Khanim Aydin (Khanim Karimova) was born in Baku.
She studied at the piano class of Art School No. 1 (1991-1996), the Faculty of Creativity of Baku Slavic University (2014–2016), and the Faculty of Russian Philology of Kharkov National University (2015–2020, Ukraine).
She has worked at the Information Advertising Enterprise of the Ministry of Culture, the “Manera.Az” website, the Translation Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the “Ulduz” magazine, the “Kaspiy” newspaper, the “Kaspi” newspaper, and the “Oxu.Az” website.
She also works as a writer, translator, and screenwriter.
She has published poems “I Want to Be Rain” (2014), “The Two of Us” (2022), and a book of stories “Suitcase” (2022).
She is currently a correspondent and translator at the “Oxu.Az” website, and a screenwriter at “Oscarfilm production”.
