Khalida Sharifova was born in Shamakhi.
She studied at the Cultural and Educational Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1978-1983).
She began her creative activity in 1974 as an actress at the Lankaran State Theater. She worked for a while at the Academic National Drama Theater (1994-2001). She is currently an actress at the Young Spectators Theater.
