Kazim Hasanguliyev was born in Baku.

He studied at the Drama and Film Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1989-1994).

During his student years, he acted in films and film performances. Since 1994, he has been working at the Academic National Drama Theater.

He is an Honored Artist (2006).
