Kamran Gasimov was born in Baku.

He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, majoring in Television Directing (2000-2004), and a master's degree in screenwriting (2005-2007).

He worked as an assistant director and director at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater (2003-2005), a screenwriter and director at the "Mozalan" film magazine (2005), an editor at the Azerbaijan Cinematographers Union (2005-2008), an editor at ANSPress, an editor-in-chief of the Department of Artistic and Publicistic Programs at ANS Independent Broadcasting and Media Company (2008-2009), a deputy general director for creative work at Space TV, Bakufilm Film Company (2009-2013), an editor-in-chief (2014), a head of the Strategic Research, Programming and Announcement Department at Space TV (2013-2014), an assistant to the general director at ANS TV (2015-2016), and an editor at APA TV (2017-2018).

He taught at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.

He is currently the founder and director of AzerNyuMedia, the head of the Cinema Radio project, the head of the Program Department of Real TV, and the host of Real TV.
