Jeyhun Turksoy (Jeyhun Mammadov) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Film Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2006-2011, Eldar Guliyev's course).
He worked as an assistant director and editor at AIF Company (2012), and as a director and editor at Picmus Production (2015). Since 2017, he has been working as a freelance director and 2D-3D animator.
