Jamila Rajabova (Jamila Mammadova / Jamila Mardangizi) was born in Baku.

She studied directing at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2003-2007).

She took makeup lessons at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio (2007). She was a makeup artist at the News studio of AzTV (2007) and CBC TV (2015-2017), and a makeup artist for many films, clips, commercials and programs shot at Soy Production, Kaspi Global and Azerbaijanfilm film studios. She currently works at Muz TV.
