Jala Hasanli was born in Baku.

She studied at the Faculty of Pedagogy (Russian Language and Literature) of Baku Slavic University. Later, she took a refresher course at the same university and also majored in Azerbaijani Language and Literature.

She worked as a correspondent for the “ATV Sahar” program of Azad Azerbaijan Television (2012), as a presenter-correspondent in the “Sharm” program, as a presenter in the “ATV Sahar” program (2018-2019), and as a presenter in the News program on Public Television (2019-2022).

Since 2023, she has been the presenter of ARB24 television.
