Ilham Huseynov was born in Ganja. He studied at the Drama and Film Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1984-1990). He worked at the Ganja State Drama Theater (1990-2013). Since 2013, he has been an actor of the Academic National Drama Theater. He is an Honored Artist (2011).
