Ilham Asadov was born in Baku.

He studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1993-1997).

Since 1994, he has worked at the Ilham Miniature Theater. Since 2003, he has been an actor at the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators.

He was awarded the “Sima” award in the nomination “The Most Active Public Worker of the Season” (2016).
