Ilaha Hasanova was born in Aghsu.

She studied at the Drama and Theater Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2003-2007).

She worked at the Baku Municipal Theater (2007-2008), the “Yug” Theater (2010-2012).

Since 2010, she has been an actress at the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater.

For the film “Pomegranate Garden”, she was awarded the “Best Actress” award at the Antakya International Film Festival (Turkey) and the 15th Kazan International Film Festival (Russia).
