Ilaha Qismet Abdulla (Ilaha Israfilova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School and the Baku Music Academy, specializing in Composition.

She is the author of the ballets "Dede Gorgud" and "Demir Yumrug".

She is the secretary of the Azerbaijan Composers' Union.
