Igbal Mammadaliyev

Iqbal Vamiq oglu Mammadaliyev was born in the Kurdakhani village of Baku. He studied at music school No. 10 (1989–1994, tar class), at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art in the specialty of Directing (1996–2000) and at the master's degree in theater studies (2000-2002). As a postgraduate student at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art, he studied the topic of "montage structure in cinema" (2003-2006). He worked as a freelance author in the "Youth and Time" editorial office of the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (1996-1998), as a director at the "Soy" company (1998-2000), Lider television (2000-2004), Public TV (2005-2006), and at the "Salname" documentary film studio. He was the director of portrait programs on film aesthetics within the framework of the "Actually I..." project on public television. Since 2009, he has been the general director of EL TV (ARB Aran) television, operating in the city of Yevlakh. He founded the "Aranfilm" Creative Center as part of the television (2016-2020). He is the director of television projects, more than 200 programs, concerts, performances and live broadcasts, and the author of more than 60 documentaries. He was awarded the "Best Director of the Year" award established by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of Azerbaijan (2004). His films have been awarded at several international festivals. Since 2022, he has been engaged in pedagogical activities at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art.
