Idris Rustamov was born in Baku.

He starred in the foreign film “The Interviewee” (1986, directed by Yuri Marukhin / Belarus) and the TV series “Conspiracy” (2004, directed by Vadim Ostrovsky / Russia).

He was awarded the “Best Actor” award at the Lebanon International Short Film Festival (2016) for his role in the film “The Last One” (2013).

Idris Rustamov died in 2018 after a long illness.
