Huseynagha Sadigov was born in Baku. He studied at the Azerbaijan Theater Technical School. In 1930, he was accepted into the acting troupe of the Azerbaijan State Young Spectator Theater for a trial period through a competition and began his career as an actor shortly after. During the war years, he fought his way to Berlin and was seriously wounded twice. He was awarded the Lenin Komsomol Prize of the Republic for the role of Mirpasha in the play "Komsomol Poem" (1967). He became famous for his role as "Khoruz Baba" on the radio (1950-1960).
He played the role of the Grand Vizier in the film "Aladdin's Magic Lamp" (1966, directed by Boris Rycharev / Russia) by foreign film producers.
Honored Artist (1956), People's Artist (1979) Huseynaga Sadigov died in 1983.
