Hajimurad Yagizarov (Haji Murad Yagizarov) was born in Baku.
He studied at the Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1958-1962).
Since 1962, he has worked at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater.
He has starred in the foreign film producers' series "Spiral" (1990, directed by Giuli Chochonelidze / Georgia), in the role of a deputy minister in the series "Drongo" (2002, directed by Zinoviy Roizman / Russia), in the role of a prime minister in the film "Antimoz from Iberia" (2011, directed by Giuli Chochonelidze / Georgia), in the film "Mecca" (directed by Elmar Imanov / Germany), in the film "Nuremberg Trial" (Germany), in the role of a Soviet colonel in the film "Speyer and He" (Germany), and in the film "Under Suspicion" (Germany).
He was awarded the orders "Shohrat" (2009), "Sharaf" (2019), "Humay", "Golden Dervish" (1996) and State Prizes (1986).
He lived in Germany for a while.
Honored Artist (1974), People's Artist (1982) Hajimurad Yagizarov died in Munich in 2025 and was buried in the II Alley of Honor.
