Guney Aliyeva (Guney Akbarova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art, majoring in Drama and Cinema Actress (2006-2010).

In 2007, she played a role in the play “Monsieur Jordan and the Crowned Shah” at the Academic National Drama Theater.

She worked at the Academic National Drama Theater (2007-2010) and the Baku Variety Theater (2010-2012).

As a child, she was a member of the Banovsha Children's Choir. At the same time, she was engaged in national dance.

She is an actress at the Irevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater.
