Gumrah Rahimov was born in the village of Sarvan, Borchali.

He studied at the Cultural and Educational Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts.

He began working in the acting department of the “Azerbaijan” film studio by appointment. He was awarded the Azerbaijan State Prize for his role as Tunch Veli in the film “Bloody Soil”.

Gumrah Rahimov died in 1994.
