Gulnar Mammadli

Gulnar Mammadli was born in Sheki.

She studied at the Faculty of Journalism of the Azerbaijan International University (1999-2003).

While a student, she interned at the “Adalat” newspaper and Azerbaijan Television. She was the executive secretary of the student newspaper, which was published as a supplement to the “Adalat” newspaper. She worked in the information center created in connection with the Presidential Elections at the Press Club (2003). She worked as a correspondent in the News Department of the Public Television (2005-2013), and as a screenwriter at the Jarçıfilm Creative Union (2013-2024).

Screenwriter Gulnar Mammadli is the wife of director Elchin Gasimov.
