Galib Mirzaliyev was born in Baku. He studied at the Azim Azimzade Art School (2001-2005), and at the Film Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (2007-2011).

He has been working in the cinema field since 2007.

He is the head of the “QN” Children's Film School.

He works as the chief director at the Azerbaijan State Children's Philharmonic (since 2019), and as the creative director at Sahiyya TV (since 2022).

Makeup artist, director Galib Mirzaliyev is the husband of makeup artist Narmina Mirzaliyeva.
