Faiq Husiyev

Faig Husiyev was born in Sumgayit.

He studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University (1991-1997).

In 1993, he began working as a freelance correspondent in the Youth editorial office of Azerbaijan Television. He was an editor in the editorial office of the Television's Country Exchange Programs (1996-1997), Literature and Journalism (1997-1998), International Programs (1998-2005), Director of the Author Programs Department (2006-2007), Director of the News Information Programs Studio (2007-2009), Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC (2009-2015), Rector of the Teleradio Academy (2015-2021). Since 2021, he has been the head of the Analytical Group of AzTV.

He is a Doctor of Philosophy in Philology. Honored Journalist (2008).
