Elkhan Aghahuseynoghlu (Elkhan Aghahuseynov / Elkhan Huseynov) was born in Baku.

He studied at the Cultural Education Technical School and the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts. 

While studying at the technical school, he was accepted into the creative staff of the Academic National Drama Theater (1960), where he worked until the end of his life (with breaks).

In the early years of his creative career, he performed under the surname "Huseynov".

Honored Artist (1991), People's Artist (2002) Elkhan Agahuseynoglu died in 2009.
