Elshan Aliyev (Elshan Hasanoghlu) was born in Baku.
He studied Cinematography at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2000-2004).
He worked on Azerbaijan Television (1992-2002), Lider TV (2002-2005), Ictimai TV (2005-2008), and the “Salname” documentary film studio.
Since 2013, he has been an employee of the Baku Media Center.
