Eldar Imanov was born in Tartar.
He studied at the Theater Collective Director's Department of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1990-1995).
Since 1992, he has been an actor of the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater, and since 2009, of the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators.
