Akbar Najaf (Akbar Najafli) was born in the village of Dordler in Neftchala.

He studied Turkish at Ankara University in Turkey (1993-1998) and history at Marmara University (2008).

His scientific research field is “General Turkish History”. He is a historical researcher. He is a doctor of historical sciences.

He is the author of more than 20 books, 5 translations (into Turkish), 30 articles and 1 encyclopedic work. His works have been published in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran and Germany.

Since 2013, he has also been active in the field of cinema.
